After receiving a Certificate in Primary Education with Distinction, I served as a teacher in a local primary school, while at the same time, studying for a BSc (Hons) in Computer in Education at
City University of Hong Kong
from1999-2003
when I graudated with First Class Honours. Since I
enjoy my learning journey - the exploration into the subject of
computer in education,
I joined the CityU AIMTech Centre and Department of Computer Science as a PhD research
student in September 2003. Under the supervision of
Prof. Horace H. S. Ip
, I completed my research project and PhD Thesis on "Personalization
in Education" in 2006.

During my PhD study, I was the co-project leader of two HKSAR Quality Education Fund projects and one EMB consultancy project that deployed a web-based English learning system (WELS) that I have designed as my undergraduate final year project for a number of Primary schools.¡@
