About Myself

I was major in Mathematics when I was a first-year undergraduate student at Fudan University, Shanghai during 2000-2001. Later, with the Government Supported Funding, I transferred to Computer Science Department, City University of Hong Kong. I graduated in Fall 2005 with first class honor (up 2%). Now I am MPhil student in CityU and my supervisor is  Prof. Horace H. S. Ip . My research interests include image processing, pattern recognition, and matrix computations.

Research Projects

bulletbullet

2005 - now:  3D model retrieval. My goal is to investigate issues in shape-based retrieval and analysis of 3D models. First part of the project is to preserve the geometry and topology of the query model, and then the database clustering. Semantic Gap will also be considered.

bulletbullet

2005 - now:  Pocket School - real time student performance monitoring system on Pocket PC. A platform is designed to integrate mobile technologies into teaching and learning, and particularly the tracking and monitoring of students performance.
